Fresh Turmeric & Ginger Tea

Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh turmeric, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 2.5 cups water
Directions
  1. Use a microplane to grate the fresh ginger and turmeric
  2. Add to a small saucepan with the water, lemon juice and honey
  3. Bring to the boil and then gently simmer for 10 minutes
  4. Remove from heat and strain through a fine sieve
  5. Pour into mug and serve while hot
