I got caught up in all the excitement and thought these icy poles would be a great way to celebrate the sun. They take around five minutes to make and are made with fresh fruit and sweetened with a little maple syrup.
I had fun channelling my inner child and eating these on a sunny day. If you have kids these would be a fun thing to make together. They are free of refined sugar and artificial sweeteners and packed full of delicious fruit.
I had trouble deciding what to call these, in Australia we call them icy poles/ice blocks, in the UK they are called ice lollies and in the USA they are called popsicles. I decided to stick to my roots and call them icy poles! One thing I do know, is that no matter where in the world you are, I’m sure you’ll love these on a warm summer’s day
